Our Gel Packs are on sale for the month of August! They come in 2 sizes, are easy to use and can be cold or hot!

Applying ice or heat can provide relief from injuries, aches, and pains. Our gel packs can be used hot and cold for any kind of injury or pain. Ice works best after a sudden injury while heat soothes chronic muscle aches and pains.

Ice works for injuries because it narrows your blood vessels, which prevents blood from accumulating at the injury (adding to inflammation and swelling). If you experience a new injury, follow RICE rules: rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Ice should be applied for about 20 minutes once an hour. A gel pack is best as it can be wrapped around the injured area and compressed to minimize swelling.

Using heated gel packs will bring blood to the area, which promotes healing, soothes pain, and relaxes muscles. Chronic pain that does not involve swelling will respond well to heat . Apply the heat for 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Be careful not to burn yourself, wrap the hot pack in a towel.
